UCSB and the UC Regents now own the former Ocean Meadows property and are working collaboratively with a number of local, state and federal partners to implement the restoration of this former estuary system.

The North Campus Open Space area will restore 64 acres of developed land that was part of 652 acres of contiguous open space identified in the Ellwood-Devereux Coast Joint Proposal process.
